Mobile Phone Hardware Repair Technician training program is organized by Pearltri Foundation in Thiruvallur in partnership with Yashaswi Academy for Skills. Sewing Machine Operator training is organized in Vellore by Pearltri Foundation in partnership with Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, RM Educational Trust and ACE skill development pvt ltd. Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Asha Deep Foundation and has organized a short term course to improve the employability of youth. The course will help the candidates learn sales skills, customer service, communication etc. during this period. The candidates are mobilized from taramani region and most of them are school/college dropouts looking for skill enhancement opportunities. The training is being organized in Taramani and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates who successfully complete this training program.

• Eligibility Criteria: 5th Standard

• Training Duration: 3 Months
• Pass Percentage: 100% (Internal Assessment)
• Placement Percentage: 82% of the candidates are placed and are working with Brand Factory, Spencer Retail, Capital First etc.

Information Technology (IT) Skill Development Program (SHINE – Batch 5: January 2019 – June 2019)

SHINE is a long term full time skill enhancement & employment program launched in association with Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd and Universal Higher Education Trust (Vellore) to help disadvantaged youth especially those from smaller cities, towns and rural regions to launch successful careers in the Information Technology sector and below are the highlights of the program.

• Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor/Master Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology
• Number of Participants: 18
• Training Duration: 6 Months
• Major Topics Covered:
  • Date base: Oracle, SQL Server
  • Programming Languages: C, C++, Java, C#.Net
  • Soft Skills: Language, Communication, Behavior skills etc.

All candidates are provided with a monthly stipend of INR 5000/- during the 6 months program.

Basic IT Skills (Batch 2: October 2018 – January 2019)

Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Association for Non-Traditional Employment For Women (ANEW) and has organized a short term course to improve the IT Skills of Women (Final year Graduate students). The course will help the candidates improve Basic IT Skills and improve their employment prospects. The candidates are mobilized from the Chennai city and the training is being organized in the office of ANEW located in Anna Nagar. Apart from IT Skills, the candidates are also exposed to life skills, value skills, self-defense etc. during this period. The first batch of training was completed with 17 candidates and this batch has enrolment of 33 candidates.

General Duty Assistant : (Batch 2: October 2018 – December 2019)

Pearltri Foundation has launched a training course for women to be trained as General Duty Assistant in line with the curriculum provided by Healthcare Sector Skill Council. This training is currently organized in Annai Multi specialty hospital located in Chennai in partnership with Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, RM Educational Trust and ACE skill development Pvt ltd. Candidates are mobilized from different parts of Chennai specifically those from economically backward sections of the society. Candidates will be assessed by a third party at the end of the course and will be provided with placement assistance. This training will benefit 60 women.

Aspire systems & Pearltri Foundation has partnered with RMD Palliative Care Trust and launched a 6 months short term skill development program – General Duty Assistant. The program launched on September 18th has enrolled 40 students from economically backward sections of the society from various districts of Tamilnadu. The program is currently being held in RMD’s training center located in Sriperumpudur. All candidates will be assessed by a third party at the end of the program and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates.

Aspire systems and Pearltri foundation has partnered with Sambhav Foundation (A LabourNet Initiative) to organize Fitter – Fabrication training (Short term course) for youth in Gummidipoondi to help them acquire necessary skills to find suitable employment and augment their family income. Youth are mobilized in and around Gummidipoondi region and employment opportunities are available for skilled candidates at the SIPCOT Industrial Park located in Gummidipoondi.

The candidates were subjected to periodical reviews & assessments during both Phase 1 and 2 to prepare them for future employment. All candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of INR 4000 during Phase 1 and INR 10,000 during Phase 2 of the program. All candidates are successfully placed with IT companies in Chennai after completion of the course.
